Play Date Series: Beauty and the Beast

Focus: Combo (Voice, Acting, Movement)

Mondays, Ages 6-9, 4:00-5:30, Monthly tuition: $258 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

Students will be taught an abridged musical with blocking, choreography, and music. Each week students will participate in vocal warm-up’s, music & dance rehearsals, developing new skills in acting, voice, and dance. Students will be asked to memorize lines, vocal parts, and choreography. Class will culminate in an in-class performance for family and friends.

Play Date Series: The Addams Family

Focus: Combo (Voice, Acting, Movement)

Focus: Acting

Mondays, Ages 6-10, 5:30-7:00, Monthly tuition: $258 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

Expand your imagination and bring characters to life in the classroom! This introductory class focuses on the foundations of acting, including vocal projection, movement, facial expressions, and character development. Through engaging activities, games and scene work, students will develop confidence and collaborative skills while exploring their creativity! Using these skills, students will take on roles in a short play, to be performed for family and friends.

TUESDAYS– Starting Jan. 7 (16 weeks)

Beginning Musical Theatre Dance

Focus: Dance

Tuesdays, Ages 8-12, 4:00-5:30, Monthly tuition: $295 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

This musical theatre class will focus on learning proper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows. Class is taught in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. Class curriculum includes a proper warm-up, stretches, across-the-floor progressions and combinations. Students will learn basic dance steps in musical theatre that they will see at dance auditions, while focusing on character development, and dance technique.

Beginning Improv Comedy Club

Focus: Acting

Tuesdays, Ages 7-11, 4:45-5:45, Monthly tuition: $205 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

Improv opens you up to the power of being in the moment as an actor! Each class will start with improv warm-ups, theatre games, and technique building tools for non-scripted fun! The students will then explore basic sketch comedy structures and foundations of creating strong comedic characters through original sketches and scenes.

Int/Adv Musical Theatre Dance*

Focus: Dance

Tuesdays, Ages 12-18, 5:30 – 7:00, Monthly tuition: $295 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

This is a class for serious dancers with intermediate to advanced level experience. Students will study musical theatre styles through the years with the goal of reaching a new understanding and mastery of musicality and acting performance through dance. Class begins with a technique-based warm-up and progresses to turns, leaps, and combinations. Dance attire and jazz shoes required.

Acting for Tweens

Focus: Acting

Tuesdays, Ages 11-14, 5:45-7:15, Monthly tuition: $295 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

This class lays the foundation for students to acquire the fundamental skills and tools for developing the acting process. Students strengthen their powers of concentration and focus as they learn how to analyze and create characters, breakdown the structures of monologues, scripts, and plays, and identify the given circumstances. Students make clear and specific acting choices; learn the language of theatre; and connect with their body, voice, and imagination while in performance. In-class work will consist of monologues, scenes, and improvisations.

Broadway Bound

Focus: Combo (Voice and Acting)

Thursdays, Ages 6-9, 3:45-5:00, Monthly tuition: $257 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

Do you love to sing, dance, and act? Then this is the class for you! Our Broadway Bound class will introduce you to all things musical theatre! Students will learn the basics of singing, dancing, and acting, while building mini production numbers. Classic and contemporary Broadway songs and scenes will be taught furthering their education in knowledge and experience. Class culminates in an in-class performance of staged musical numbers.

Intro to Vocal Performance

Focus: Voice

Thursdays, Ages 9-14, 5:00-6:30, Monthly tuition: $295 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

While singing show tunes each week students will get a chance to vocalize, sing, and develop their own personal artistry! Students will learn proper vocal breath control and correct vocal placement, while developing their range and musical theatre knowledge.  Students will learn different styles, composers, and shows from Broadway’s cannon.  Our instructor will help students pick material for each assignment from classic to contemporary songs that are age appropriate, unique and showcase each student individually!

Int/Adv Scene Study*

Building off our basic and beginning classes, this next level will engage in both practical and philosophical exploration of being and creating on stage. Using the language of theatre and acting, students will use text analysis to effectively tell a story, learn to activate each line with intention and purpose, gain an understanding of how to create specificity in each moment, pick up cues, learn how spatial relationships within a scene inform the dramatic action and relationship between characters, and much more. In addition, in-class work will consist of ensemble building exercises, improvisation games and techniques, as well as movement, sound and speech activities. Regular attendance is necessary.

Itty Bitty Broadway

Focus: Combo (Voice, Acting, Movement)

Saturdays, Ages 4-5, 9:45-10:30, Monthly tuition: $160 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

Is your child constantly singing, dancing, twirling, acting and pretending they are someone else? Are they ready to build their confidence, skills, and teamwork? Welcome to “Itty Bitty Broadway!” Students will learn songs, dances, and scenes inspired from the best Broadway has ever produced. They will develop confidence and character as they learn to express themselves through the power of the performing arts. They will end each session with an in-class performance for family and friends.

Students must be fully potty-trained to participate in camps and classes. For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on T360 classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.

Beg/ Beg Int Disney Sings!

Focus: Voice

Saturdays, Ages 8-14, 10:30-12:00, Monthly tuition: $295 Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr

Disney on Broadway! Each week students will vocalize, sing, and develop their own personal artistry to their favorite Disney Broadway songs. Learning to create and explore characters through contemporary and classic musical moments while building skills in diction, projection, pitch, and vocal expression.  Students will walk away with Disney songs to add to their audition books.  Students will sing individually each week, working on confidence, performance, and storytelling!

This class is geared toward the serious-minded student who strives to refine their vocal skills and creative expression. A vocal performance is more than just singing notes properly! In this class, students will work on specific vocal techniques, such as breath work/core power, mid-range belting, pop-mix, lyrical mix-soprano, alignment and more! We engage the voice and body in exercises at the beginning of each class. Using song selections, students learn how to maximize their instrument to tell musical stories in a dynamic and captivating way. Assignments are given on a weekly basis for students to select material best suited to them and perform in front of class to practice performing skills and learn to personalize that material.

You are signing up for the full 14-16-week session when you register.
Classes are cumulative and regular attendance is expected.

CANCELATION POLICY

You must email info@theatre360.org BEFORE the 3rd class of the session to qualify for a refund or credit. All refunds deduct a $75 processing fee and the cost of classes taken.
