Should you feel more comfortable having an online lesson or you’re not local to Los Angeles, we will send you a Zoom link when you register for a private lesson, as well as brief instructions to having a better Zoom lesson.

4. WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A VOICE LESSON?

The first part of the lesson is spent warming up with vocal exercises that will help build strength and range, warm-ups that develop correct placement, pitch and intonation. And develop new technique to support proper breathe support, placement and intention. The second part of the lesson, students will work on songs building repertoire and applying new techniques to their songs.

6. SHOULD I BRING MUSIC?

Yes!  For beginning students, try to have an idea of something you would like to sing. We are happy to give suggestions if you don’t know where to start, but we always recommend singing something you really love and want to sing. We will help you find vocal tracks to practice at home. If you are a more experienced student please bring your sheet music or vocal book to lesson.  We suggest you bring your voice tracks to lesson that you can connect with our bluetooth speakers.

Should you need to find sheet music we suggest www.musicnotes.com; reddit, and Scribd.  We can help up find sheet music during lesson, but please be aware it does take up time we could be we could be singing.

7. WHO PAYS FOR SHEET MUSIC OR ACCOMPANIMENT TRACKS IF YOU GET THEM FOR ME?

If you need us to help you find sheet music we will charge you the amount we pay for them plus any cc charges incurred. Sheet music can cost between $5.00-$10.00 per song and $3.00-$10.00 per professional accompaniment track.

8.  SHOULD PARENTS SIT IN ON THE LESSONS?

We have been leaders for over 20 years in letting our students work without parents in classes. This allows the student to develop their own independence, confidence, and not rely on having to impress parents or feeling self-conscious. Of course, parents are welcome to stay in the lobby area during lesson or stay in the studio if the child prefers.
